With a strong background in Marketing, Amaka is a Certified NLP Practitioner, Family Life Practitioner, Mental Health and Addiction Therapist, Master Marriage Mentor, and Relationship Coach. She is also an alumnus of The Institute for National Transformation (INT) and currently serves as the Premier Lagos Regional Alumni Coordinator for The Institute for Marriage and Family Affairs (TIMFA, USA).
Amaka is the Creator of Couples Connect, a dynamic platform for singles and married couples where she, alongside her husband, empowers couples to achieve deep friendship, ecstasy, and bliss in marriage.
She is the Founder and Dean of Faculty at The Disruptive Parenting Academy, a coaching platform dedicated to raising consummate parents and developing high-ticket parent coaches. Through this initiative, Amaka equips parents with practical strategies to nurture empowered, confident, and well-rounded children.
As the Founder and Executive Director of New Breed Prime Advocacy Initiative, she works passionately to help infants and youth realize, embrace, empower, and excellently deploy the champion in their DNA. She strongly believes that raising a wholesome child requires an upwardly mobile, collaborative community. This philosophy drives her partnerships with government agencies, religious organizations, schools, NGOs, and parents, aiming to shape a brighter future today.
Amaka is a prominent advocate of the mantra “It’s Okay to Say NO” and serves as the Convener of the Africa Mental Health Therapists and Influencers Conference, with a mandate to preserve and amplify the LIGHTS of Africa. She is also the founder of the Africa Mental Health Therapists and Influencers Network, fostering collaboration among mental health professionals across the continent.
On a personal note, Amaka is married to Engineer Omo Oikeh, affectionately hailed by her as “Your Excellency,” a friend of over nineteen years and husband of sixteen years. They are blessed with a remarkable daughter, Zuriel, a 16-year-old award-winning author of The Diary of an Amazing Kid and How to Become an Amazing Young Author. The family resides in Lagos, Nigeria.
